The Town’s governmental body is comprised of the Town Board and a variety of commissions and committees.

ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE (NO TERM LIMIT)

The Architectural Review Committee shall review the site plans, existing and proposed structures, architectural plans, neighboring uses, parking areas, driveway locations, loading and unloading, highway access, traffic generation and circulation, drainage, sewerage and water systems, and utilization of landscaping and open space and the proposed operation for development. They shall make recommendation to the Plan Commission and Town Board.

Meets: The second Wednesday of the month 6:00 P.M.

PLAN COMMISSION (TERM 3 YEAR)

In general, the Plan Commission shall have the powers as may be necessary to enable them to make reports and recommendations related to the planning and development of the Town to public officials, agencies, public utility companies, civic, educational, professional and other organizations, and citizens.

Meets: The fourth Tuesday of the month 7:00 P.M.

ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS (TERM 3 YEAR)

To hear and decide appeals when it is alleged there is error in any order, requirement, decision, or determination made by any administrative official or body, particularly when using public regulatory power to specify how land may be used and developed. The intent of zoning is to balance individual property rights of the general public to a healthy, safe and orderly living environment.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT & REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (CDA)

Oversees any rezoning, land divisions, conditional use grants, concept plans, and new/amended building, site or operation plans that take place within approved redevelopment district boundaries.
